Rapid Solutions is an open-source-first engineering and managed-services consultancy. We help organisations design, build and operate sovereign cloud, DevOps and AIOps automation, software and private AI, with one principle running through all of it: your data, your keys, your control. We are technology-agnostic and standards-led, so we architect for your governance and exit strategy rather than any single vendor. Strategy, build and day-2 operations come from the same accountable team, working from two offices in Amsterdam and Dubai with EU data residency offered as a capability.
What we do
- Sovereign and private cloud, built or sovereign-managed: run GDPR-compliant workloads on your existing provider, or stand up a fully open-source private cloud, e.g. across OpenStack, Apache CloudStack, Proxmox VE, Harvester or Kubernetes-native KubeVirt - matched to your scale and compliance needs
- DevOps, SRE and AIOps: CI/CD and GitOps (e.g. Argo CD, Flux, Tekton, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), infrastructure as code (e.g. OpenTofu, Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible), and observability on open standards like OpenTelemetry and Prometheus
- Managed servers and hosting: fully managed dedicated and cloud servers, EU hosting, patching, monitoring and incident response, plus performance optimization across the stack
- Web and mobile software development, from product builds and APIs to e-commerce and CMS work
- Private AI: self-hosted and local LLMs, RAG pipelines and AI agents (e.g. served via vLLM, Ollama or llama.cpp, with vector stores like pgvector, Qdrant or Weaviate), plus PII protection and GDPR controls
- Consulting across all of it: assessment, architecture, migration and a real hyperscaler or VMware exit plan

What does Rapid Solutions actually do?
We are an open-source-first engineering and managed-services consultancy. We assess, design, build and operate sovereign cloud, private cloud, DevOps and AIOps automation, software and private AI, either on your existing infrastructure or on a fully open-source stack we build for you. Our main focus is consulting and managed services, with breadth across the tooling ecosystem rather than allegiance to one vendor.
Are you a cloud provider?
No. We do not sell our own cloud. We help you run sovereign, GDPR-compliant workloads on the providers and infrastructure you already use, or we design and operate a private open-source cloud you control, built across the ecosystem that fits you best, from OpenStack or Apache CloudStack to Proxmox VE, Harvester or Kubernetes-native virtualization.
Are you tied to specific tools like OpenStack or Terraform?
No. We are deliberately technology-agnostic. We lead with open standards (the CNCF landscape, OCI, OpenTelemetry, the Kubernetes API) and pick the right tool per layer, so you get vendor-neutral infrastructure as code, GitOps, observability and virtualization that match your governance and exit strategy. We adapt to your existing stack rather than forcing a rebuild.
Where are you based and where is your data residency?
We have offices in Amsterdam and Dubai and engineer from Europe. We offer EU data residency as a capability, so encryption keys and operational access can stay inside your jurisdiction to address GDPR, NIS2 and foreign-access exposure such as the US CLOUD Act.
Why open-source-first and sovereign by design?
Open-source tooling gives you auditable systems, no vendor lock-in and a genuine exit, and it is the cleanest path to digital sovereignty because you can host and operate it entirely within your own perimeter. Sovereign by design means your data, your keys and your control are the default, not an upsell.
